Located in a converted brownstone in the heart of Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood, the clients' goal was to maximize their use of space that also integrated their colorful and nostalgic art deco décor. This was accomplished in part by reconfiguring the core of the apartment to create a larger, more functional kitchen. Our design solution also incorporated revised hallways that allowed freer access to the bathroom without necessitating a detour through the master bedroom. The prevailing style of the interior was updated to reflect a more contemporary look that better integrated the use of modern appliances and natural light.
